Manfred’s On the third day in Copenhagen, we continued our food adventure despite being overwhelmed by the previous night’s experience at NOMA. After a long walk through a beautiful cemetery, we arrived at Manfred’s, a casual, affordable restaurant by Chef Christian Puglisi, known for its rustic, simple design and high-quality ingredients. The food was straightforward but far from boring, featuring dishes like poached eggs, kale with bone marrow, and pork belly. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the design thoughtful, with materials like plywood and leather aprons adding to the charm.

Geist Our last dinner in Copenhagen was at Geist, a trendy spot in the heart of the city. The modern, dark, and slightly mysterious interior set the tone for the evening. Dishes like quail egg with mushrooms, potato mash with brown stone crab, and an ethereal “Air in Air in Air Tiramisu” dessert marked the end of our culinary journey. While the food was generally excellent, the suckling pig dish was a bit of a letdown. Nonetheless, it was a memorable ending to our time in Copenhagen.

Manfreds: Jægersborggade 40, 2200 Copenhagen, Denmark Copenhagen has left a lasting impression on us with its innovative culinary scene, and we hope to see New York catch up with the Danes!

Manfred’s On the third day in Copenhagen, we continued our food adventure despite being overwhelmed by the previous night’s experience at NOMA.
